during my recent stay, I was thrilled to find that it was just a few steps from the Porthminster Gallery and only a short stroll to the Tate St Ives, making it an ideal spot for exploring local art. the warm hospitality from the owners truly made me feel at home, and I greatly appreciated the chance to enjoy those beautiful sea views every morning.

The view from our room was absolutely flippen stunning, just like a postcard! Pat, our host, was just so warm and made us feel right at home, like family. The location is proper ideal, just a quick walk to the harbor and bars.

The drive up the hill was a bit scary, but once you get used to it, it's all good!

Although there wasn't breakfast provided, we appreciated the comfort of our clean room and Pat's warm hospitality. The steep walk to the house added a bit of adventure to our trip, but the views made it worth it every time. it was a lovely place to unwind after exploring the art scene in the area.

The room boasts stunning sea views that will knock your socks off, especially during sunset. I was thrilled with the cleanliness and comfort. the high standard kept surprises to a minimum.

One key issue is the lack of breakfast, which felt a bit surprising for the price tag, given others include it. The tightness of the double bed is notable. while it can fit two, it's really only comfortable for one unless you’re close with your roommate. The bathroom shower setup was a puzzle – tricky to navigate and not very user-friendly, which made for a less-than-pleasant experience. A heads-up about local transport options would have been helpful too, as the arrival process can be a hassle if you’re unfamiliar with the area. Lastly, the steep hill leading to the place might give a heart attack to those not used to it.

Lovely view and location right in the heart of all the shops and galleries! Our room was spotless and welcoming. Free parking was a sweet bonus.

Everything met my expectations.

The local dining scene is a culinary treasure chest! From Sky's Diner's hearty breakfast to the delightful gelato at The Allotment Deli, each meal was a feast. Plus, the room's breathtaking sea view made mornings feel like a dream. Pat's warm hospitality truly made us feel at home too.

Loved our stay, but a cheeky tip, skip the narrow lanes when driving to the guest house. Stick to the main roads and park near the Tate Gallery instead—it's just a quick 4-minute stroll down the sloped road.

Found some fantastic local cold cuts nearby, which were a delicious highlight. the steep walk up to the house and limited payment options were a challenge, unfortunately leaving us with an unexpected £30 reimbursement for currency differences.

Had an amazing time with friends! The location made it easy to explore and we loved visiting the local art spots. The place was spotless, and we appreciated Pat's hospitality. Each day our room was refreshed, making it feel like a home away from home. Great for those looking to unwind and enjoy everything nearby. The free parking is a nice bonus!

One downside was that breakfast wasn’t included, which we actually wanted, but we enjoyed the flexibility of checking out local cafes instead.
